1 package crescent rolls
- Brown the sausage, breaking it into small pieces.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough. Separate into two squares at the center seam.
- Pinch together all the seams thoroughly.
- Divide the meat in half and spread evenly on each square of dough.
- Starting at one edge, roll the dough into a log, with meat inside.
- Slice each roll into 1/2-inch pieces and place each cookie flat on a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
This is my friend Dustin's recipe, and a huge Fathers' Day hit at our house!
* I use store-brand maple sausage.
