2-3 parsnips
2 small turnips
3 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
- Peel all the vegetables and chop into chunks.
- Heat water to boiling in a large pot and add all vegetables. Bring back to a boil and simmer until tender, about 30 mins.
- Drain well.
- Add butter, salt and pepper and mash vegetables until well mixed.
